Channel Tunnel often known as Chunnel is a 31 mile train tunnel running beneath English Channel. This tunnel links France to England by Eurostar
Chunnel train London Paris as well as to Brussels in Belgium. Channel Tunnel starts at Folkestone in Kent and emerges at Calais in France.
Train Services in Channel Tunnel
There are two train services through Chunnel which are
Eurotunnel and
Eurostar. While Eurostar is a passenger train that takes people from London (St. Pancras/Ebbsfleet/Ashford) to Paris (Gare du Nord) and Brussels (Brussels Midi), Eurotunnel is used to carry cars, motorcycles and other vehicles from
Folkestone to Calais.
